Box Butte County Fair wants to announce due to financial problems Extreme Ink Carnival will not be bringing their hard rides (scrambler, roller coaster, etc) to the Box Butte County Fair this year.  They will be bringing inflatables (bounce house, fun slide, etc) and we have hired two other companies to bring out interactive rides (bungee trampoline).  All rides will be offered to the public for free.

We are really disappointed with the situation and want to offer people who have already purchased carnival ride coupons from the fair office or the Alliance Chamber of Commerce a full refund, but the refunds must be made at the fair office in Hemingford now through Sunday, August 14.

Another option instead of a full cash refund is if you want to support the fair's "Raise the Roof" campaign for the construction of a new livestock barn, the ride coupons may be exchanged for tickets to the "Raise the Roof" fundraiser, which also carries the same $15 value as a carnival coupon.  It includes a prime rib sandwich plate and a raffle ticket for a Honda 4-wheeler and other prizes.
